Joseph Stein

Administrator

Joseph Stein began his career with Centers Health Care in 2020 as a medical biller, where he quickly developed a strong foundation in healthcare operations, and gained in-depth knowledge of healthcare finance. Later on, he took on the role of Assistant Administrator at Northern Manor, part of the Centers Health Care network. While there, he gained valuable experience in a variety of areas including leadership skills, staff coordination, and resident care.

Today, Joseph holds the role of Administrator at Northern Metropolitan. In this role, he is able to apply his knowledge and experience, fueled by a passion for quality of care, to ensure the highest level of service for residents and their families.

Joseph earned his LNHA from St. Joseph’s College of Maine, where he strengthened his integral skills and understanding for long-term care administration and resident-centered management. He uses his education and gained experience to serve the community with compassion and integrity.

Lillian Diaz

Director of Nursing

Lillian Diaz is currently the Director of Nursing at Northern Metropolitan Rehabilitation Center where she is passionately dedicated and committed to serving the Long-Term patient care communities. Lillian has previously served in executive roles for many years as the Deputy Executive Director and Chief Nurse Officer of New York City Health and Hospitals. Lillian has over 35 years of experience in healthcare overseeing patient care services in cardiothoracic, coronary, medical and surgical intensive care, telemetry, and med-surg units. In her role as patient advocate, Lillian leads a culture of service excellence to optimize the delivery of quality patient care.

Lillian obtained a Doctorate in Healthcare Administration degree from Central Michigan University, a Master of Business Administration and Master of Science in Organizational Management degree from Saint Joseph’s University, and a Bachelor of Science in nursing degree from Downstate University. Lillian has co-authored publications titled “Self-Care Practices among NYONEL Nurse Leaders”, “Preparing for Disasters Among Nurse Leaders in New York State”, and authored a publication titled “Nursing Peer Review: A Framework for Patient Safety” in the Journal of Nursing Administration.

 

Daniela Vilinsky

Director of Rehabilitation

Daniela Vilinsky is a highly accomplished licensed Physical Therapist with over three decades of clinical and leadership experience. A 1993 graduate of USAL Buenos Aires, Daniella began her career in New York City, serving as a senior PT at Mount Sini hospital from 1997-2001.

Throughout her carrier, she has developed deep expertise across a diverse range of clinical settings, including orthopedics, neurology, women’s health, psychiatry, and geriatrics. Her professional trajectory reflects a strong transition into healthcare leadership.  Having served as the Assistant Director of Rehabilitation at Northern Riverview Rehab (2009-2022) before stepping into her current role as Director of Rehab at Northern Metropolitan.

In addition to her administrative and clinical roles, Daniela is a dedicated clinical instructor, committed to mentoring the next generation of therapists. She thrives under complexities of managing rehabilitation departments and remains passionate about delivering high-quality patient care.
